The holiday season is here, and Christmas is just around the corner. While it’s always a challenge to find gifts that everyone in your family will love, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. This post will give you 10 simple, budget-friendly gift ideas that will bring joy to the whole family.

Games and Puzzles– Perfect for Family Games Night!

My little ones have been enjoying Yahtzee and Chess whenever they visit grandpa’s house lately. This got me thinking we must be really coming out of the baby phase and into the kid phase. This is so bittersweet, but mostly sweet in my experience. I’m excited to get a new game each Christmas to build up our collection. Some of my favorites so far are Uno, Trouble, Sorry!, Taco vs. Burrito, Taco Cat Goat Pizza.

Experiences – Memories that will last a lifetime.

Why not plan a trip for your family this year? Maybe a cruise to a warmer place, or go overseas for the first time. We had an amazing vacation to Italy and Scotland that you can read all about here.

Movies – Share the joy of a classic.

I’m all about the classic movies. This is exactly what I think of when I think of a perfect gift for the older people in my life. Did you grow up watching movies like the musical Hello Dolly!? Or old westerns like Tombstone? Surprise your loved one by inviting them over and streaming these favorites for old times sake.

Books- The Gift that Keeps on giving

Check out some of my favorite books that have changed me and made me laugh in this post here.

Arts and Crafts – Creative Fun for the whole family

Have you ever learned cat’s cradle? Here’s a whole book to help you try it out!

Subscription Boxes – A Surprise every month!

We love our Amazon Prime subscription and use it daily, easily! Did you know that you have access to streaming movies like Shazam and Wonder Woman 1984? Or, two of our shows that Amazon has produced lately that are our absolute favorite Wheel of Time and The Rings of Power.

We get better delivery times with our Prime Membership, along with music, podcasts and video streaming. All for $140/year or $14/month. This is an amazing deal in this economy, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Music – Turn up the fun!

I’ve recently invested in my own musical career, if you all didn’t know. Go follow me @cute.uke to see my fun ukulele jammin videos. But also, have some fun yourselves this Christmas with a Karaoke machine, or a Ukulele of your own. (You’d be surprised at how easy it is to learn!)

Self-Care & Clothing – Everyone needs socks or sweats to stay cozy…

I’m not one to turn down a clothing gift, so even if you have to ask for the person’s shirt or pants size I think its a good idea to gift some fancy or cozy clothes this Christmas. These sweat suits for the ladies are so trendy right now and comfy, who doesn’t want that combo when it comes to fashion?! And for the men, some jogger pants and/or socks are a great stocking stuffer.

Decor – Update your home decor

I’ve got a whole section of this blog where I’ve put together beautiful, luxurious design pieces for a fraction of the price. Surprise your significant other with a small remodel or a new addition to your furniture design or decor. Check out all those articles here to see all the gorgeous options.

Technology – With a twist

How bout some technology, without the technology, for those kiddos? There are these LCD writing tablets that my kiddos can play on to no end that I love. And this year I want to invest in a cute camera like this one for our little girl. It’s purple and adorable and $40 and prints the photos right away. She’s going to have a blast!
